Something beautiful

I think the transformers are really cool and beautiful things, especially this one that appears in the movie-'Transformers'. If just look at the appearance, those shining pieces of silver coloured metals will absolutely catch your eyes. The whole structure looks powerful and really dynamic. When you look around, you might feel that every parts of it combined wonderfully and those tiny things that connect each part make this machine looks very high tech and future. Besides that, when those transformers are moving or doing other things like fighting, their action is so natural like humans. Thus, I like the way they perform and how they looks like. It makes me feel that they are beautiful.

The inspiration of being an architect

The inspiration of being an architect is not only from one specific building, but all sorts of buildings that I thought they were beautiful. The building in this picture is probably one of these buildings. This building was built in my hometown and it is magnificent when everytime I saw it. It gives me the reason to be an architect. That time I was thingking if such a building was built by me, then I will be remembered by many people. Thus, this become one of things that encourage me to choose this career. Being an architect is lucky. At least leave something before die. Of course, I do not mean that other career is doing nothing, but architecture is something that really can be seen and touched. However I am not just interested in skyscrapes now, because I know the building will always be kept as long as it is a good one.

My creative work

This lamp is one of my design assignments while I was in foundation year. It mainly shows one of the unique Australian features which express as 'Australians live on the edge of the land'. I know this from another subject which tells us a lot about Australian culture and environment. When people see this lamp, their sights attracted by the pattern along the edge, therefore achieved my major idea in this design which is to show this unique Australian feature. The pattern along the edge comprised of every single piece of balsa wood which really takes time to cut. Anyway I think it is my best piece of work during this foundation year because it looks satisfied and also got good marks.
